I, Frances Pollock Lasater felt to write this day, Jan. 2nd.
2000, of the Blessings I have received of the Lord as I have
Journeyed through this life. It is good to have someone to love, and someone to love you. I thank the Lord for my Sheltered Life. I have NEVER been without someone to love me and someone to love. From a baby up this has been true in my life. And ere I knew it, God loved me all the time. And once I heard His Voice and heard His Word, and felt His Love, my life has been richer and richer. This is the Abundant Life that He Promised. John 10:10. This abundant Life is in Him. His Love comes to us directly and indirectly through His People. There are so many who have made my life so rich. First of all, my Mother. My husband Ralph, Our Children, Ralph Jr., Larry and Ron, and their Wives. Our Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren, and all other Family Members. Many Special Christian Friends. All these make for a very Special and fulfilling Life. ( The Abundant Life mentioned earlier ). I have said so many times, “ I was born rich “.And truly I was. God truly IS my Life and through and by Him all this IS. A-men My life is so Rich in Him, who is LIFE. In Him is where Real True Life IS. And where Real True Life IS LIVED. He truly is My Life, My Rock, My Defense, My Shelter, My hiding Place from the Storms of life. He is my Protector, The one from whom I am comforted. He is My Leader, My Guide. He directs my footsteps in righteousness. He is My Shepard, and I am a sheep of His Pasture. As the Psalmist David wrote, “ THE LORD IS MY SHEPHARD AND I SHALL NOT WANT”. I have found this to be so true in my own life. There is so much to be said, I COULD NEVER SAY IT ALL. He is so much bigger, so much greater than our finite minds can think or comprehend. But, I sure do Thank Him for all I do understand of Him, His Ways and His Kingdom. His Kingdom IS: RIGHOUSNESS, AND PEACE, AND JOY IN THE HOLY GHOST. Roman’s 14: 17. And that is where I want to ever dwell. I have found THE PEARL OF GREAT PRICE. ( Mathew 13: 46 ) And I want to share it with all who will receive it. I told Ron I want my Epitaph to read, “ She loved always,” But now I want it to say, “ She was loved and she loved always.” The love I was ( and am ) loved with is eternal, never dying. That is the wonderful thing about Pure Love. It is ever living. It goes on and on. I am not patting myself on the back, ( far from it ) just giving my TESTIMONY, Praising HIM, The ONE from whom all this came. GLORY BE TO HIS NAME.. The one who so rightly deserves ALL the HONOR and ALL the GLORY. Were it not for Him, none of this would be. So I cannot Praise Him enough, but I do want to lift up my voice in Praise and Gratitude to Him for ALL He has done for me. The half has never been told, nor can it ever be. He is too big for that, and His Blessings too numerous. Anyone receiving the Great Love of which I speak will be Blessed of it through out all eternity. You might not realize you are receiving it now, But one day you will be awakened to it. Your eyes will be opened to see it and you will be made to realize that you have received it, and that it will be with you through all eternity. As it was with me after my Mother died. I wept over her for about a month, till the Lord spoke these words to me. “ WELL , YOU RECEIVED HER WHILE SHE WAS HERE. “ I knew in that instant “ I had “ THE WORDS HAD POWER, THEY WERE ALIVE. It sure dried my tears because I knew then she was ever with me. All that she was in God, she was in me. ALL! What a Blessing, the two made ONE. What a Heritage! That is what I desire to leave to my Children, Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, and ALL who will receive of this Great Blessing. What a Treasure! These are the treasures that will not fade away. What a song to sing. The song of the Redeemed. Isaiah 51:11. “ LET THE REDEEMED OF THE LORD SAY SO.” Psalm 107: 2. And that is what I want to do, That when I depart this life, that these things will live on and on and on in the hearts of others, Our Legacy. The Legacy I desire to leave IS, Him in me and me in Him. As He said to His Disciples, “ MY PEACE I GIVE UNTO YOU, MY PEACE I LEAVE WITH YOU.” Again, it’s the receiving that will Bless us and assure us the Blessing will remain with us. .And for it to be effective ( living ) the giver must first be partaker of this fruit himself, as Christ was. Had He not had the fruit, He could not have left it to His Disciples, Nor can we. We must have the fruit in ourselves, in order to have to give to others. This is the Legacy I have received and it is the Legacy I desire be passed on to my family, my extended family, friends, ect. All who will receive.. Even if one receives, my life has been worth the living. And the rewards will be eternal. No wonder He said, WHOSOEVER WILL, LET HIM TAKE THE WATER OF LIFE FREELY. All who drink will be Refreshed and Blessed. Drink deeply my beloved ! My Family, Extended Family, Relatives, Friends ect. All who will come to the Fountain of Living Waters and drink. He promised us (those who believe on Him) OUT OF OUR BELLY’S ( SPIRIT ) SHALL FLOW RIVERS OF LIVING WATER. St. John 7: 38, 39. These also are the waters whereof we drink and never die. St. John 4: 10, 14. also Revelation 7: 17. Many might not understand the fullness of which I speak. But don’t despair. Just Believe and Drink. The fullness and experience will come to you later, when He opens your eyes to this truth and gives you understanding. He will turn the water into wine at His appointed time for all who drink. Drink deeply the wine is so refreshing. This is not to my glory and praise, But to His. He is Worthy of All Glory, All Honor, and All Praise. However, He did say, when He was Glorified we would be glorified with Him. Romans 8:17 and 2nd Thessalonians 1:10-12. We become bone of His bone and flesh of His flesh. Ephesians 5:30. ( One with Him ! ) Therefore we have life in ourselves, never ending life because of Him, who IS LIFE. We truly cannot tell it, One has to receive it for One’s self in order to understand and experience it. You will never be sorry or barren. The Riches and Blessings are far too Numerous and Glorious to tell. Come ALL and drink at the fountain of Living Waters. To my Family, Extended Family, Relatives, Friends and even to those I do not know and may never know. I say to all, Come and drink at the Fountain of Living Waters. |
